A Feather-Light Tale
Some projects do more than just fill our days; they nourish our souls as translators. My recent immersion into the world of 'Princess Lyria's Last Collection' , a precious collaboration born on the Reedsy platform, is undeniably one of them. Working on this book was far more than a simple stylistic exercise—it was a true emotional journey. Translating this charming children’s book wasn’t just about aligning French words with English ones. It was about feeling Lyria's quiet s

Translating Eroticism: Stripping Down the Words
Translating a philosophical treatise requires rigor. A thriller demands a sharp sense of pacing. But translating an intimate scene requires, above all else, a specific kind of stylistic courage. In literature, the physical act is often a highly anticipated moment, charged with emotional tension, where language must fade into the background to make room for pure sensation. It is a true tightrope act, and the translator often finds themselves performing a delicate dance to keep

Le Vicomte disparu
It’s finally here! The second volume of the Hartley Sisters’ stories has arrived. What a joy to return to this family of dreamers and romantics, so wonderfully unlike the usual English nobility, and to once again enjoy the sharp wit of these heroines who never let anything bring them down. Oblivion - Remastered
Our localization team, sadly, wasn’t credited for this gem—but for someone like me who roamed Cyrodiil back in 2006, it was truly incredible to dive back into that rich, intense, and familiar world, and to give it a better French adaptation. Sheogorath’s dialogues—and those of his court—were especially delightfully outrageous. To everyone who played the remaster: I hope you enjoyed the remake!

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
What an honor and a joy it was to work on the wonderful game that is Kingdom Come: Deliverance II ! Just as players are free to guide Henry down countless paths, the translation team was given incredible freedom and trust—allowing us to craft French texts as colorful and extravagant as the game itself. I spent many fantastic months working alongside all the talented people credited in the game. 👏

WoW - The War Within
And another one! It’s always a joy and a privilege to localize and adapt the new adventures of a game I grew up with. And the cherry on top? For some time now, each of us has been individually credited! Here we go—on to the next expansion!

La fausse fiancée
The Hartley family—and especially the eldest daughter, Verity—are delightfully eccentric and unpredictable characters I had immense fun working with. Preserving the author’s spirited style while weaving in the 19th-century Shakespearean theatrical references was both a challenge and a joy! A sample is available on Amazon
